About Me
My story begins with Arya, our beloved German Shepherd. When Arya first came home, it quickly became clear that she was an anxious dog who needed patience, understanding and very specific care.
At the time, I was working as a sommelier and my partner’s schedule was irregular. We needed a dog walker on certain days, but finding someone who truly understood Arya’s needs proved incredibly difficult. It became clear that not all dogs fit into a one-size-fits-all approach.
To give Arya the care and consistency she deserved, we made significant changes and sacrifices in our lives. Ultimately, this led me to step away from my career as a sommelier and dedicate myself fully to working with dogs.
Today, my mission is to provide a professional, high-standard service that is thoughtfully tailored to each individual dog. While I have completed formal canine courses, I firmly believe that education in this field is ongoing; every dog teaches you something new.
The name St Bernard Trail holds special meaning for me. Saint Bernards were the first dogs I ever truly fell in love with and they symbolise care, loyalty, adventure, and trust - values that sit at the heart of everything I do. In a subtle way, the name also nods to my sommelier past, blending where I’ve come from with what I’m passionate about today.
